With my internet finally working again I can move on to getting a better understanding of the words Na and Ng.

Both Na and Ng can be used to link certain words together. They normally link adjectives with what they are describing or nouns. Na and Ng each have their own set of grammar rules. Na is used with words ending in a consonant other than n, while Ng is used for words ending in a vowel or n.

For example you can say Magandang Babae. Where Magandang is beautiful and Babae is women. You may think that nothing has changed but since Maganda ends in a vowel you need to add ng onto the end.

An example of Na is Mabait na Babae. Where Mabait is kind or nice and Babae is women. But since Mabait ends in a consonant other than n you use Na instead of Ng.

Summary

Word: Na

Rule: Use after a word ending in a consonant other than n

Example: Mabait na Babae

Translations: Nice Women

Word: Ng

Rule: Use after a wording ending in a vowel or n

Example: Magandang Babae

Translations: Beautiful Woman

I know there are more rules relating to Ng and Na, so tomorrow I will dive deeper into their grammar rules.
