So after living in the Philippines for four years I finally decided that I am going to learn Tagalog. I know it may seem like a long time, but if you have ever lived or visited the Philippines you would know that the majority of Filipinos know how to speak and understand English. Resulting in me becoming complacent and wondering, why should I even bother?

 

But after settling down and adjusting to my new life. I started to wonder what else I could do to improve myself. And of the course the first idea that came into my mind was that I was going to learn Tagalog. But of course we all know that just because we set a goal doesn’t mean we are going to achieve it.

 

This is why I needed a way for people to hold me accountable for my words. I will be posting at least one new lesson every week. And of course if I don’t, there will be numerous ways for you to contact me and complain that I’m not trying hard enough.
